do this sequence with as little rest in between as possible to keep heart rate up

Do one set of each exercise, in the order described, every day. Do enough repetitions that the exercise is challenging, but not so many that it extremely difficult.

  1. jumping jacks

    • get muscles warm without overtaxing them
    • 1 set: do them until start to be a little taxing

  2. trunk twists

    • slow and controlled
    • 1 set: do enough thatabdomen and lower back feels looser and more limber

  3. toe touch squats

    • 1 set: feel a little bit fatigue
    • increase the number after you’ve gotten used to the routine so it stays a little challenging.

    • alternate: deadlift press squats

      Once you get to the last picture in the sequence, follow the it back through in reverse

    1. squat
    2. stand and press the weight above your head
    3. lower the weight and bend down to touch toes
    4. raise the weights back up above the head
    5. bring them down and squat again

    • 1 set: 5-10 reps at the beginning, aim for 12-20 range or more
  4. pushups/plank (optional)
